Photographer Luke Duggleby after shooting Holi, the Festival of Colour, in central India.

Born in 1977 in the North of England Luke is an award-winning British photographer specialising in Asia. After completing a degree in Photography in the UK he moved to Asia, first China and then to Bangkok, Thailand, where he has been based for over 6 years. He is continuously shooting travel, editorial and corporate style assignments for some of the most globally respected publications and NGO's all over the Asian continent.

He began his career with a photo-story published in The Sunday Times Magazine (UK) and has since been assigned and published in publications such as National Geographic Magazine, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Le Figaro Magazine, Stern, Monocle, TIME, GEO France, GEO Germany, ESPN Magazine, Forbes, Volvo's LIV Magazine, The New York Times, Geographical Magazine (UK), The Wall Street Journal, USAID, Gain Alliance, UNDP, Morning Calm Magazine, Die Zeit Magazine etc...

Luke has published one book in Italy called Il Lato Invisible del Paradiso - Pellegrinaggi ai Confini del Tibet (The Invisible Side of Paradise - A Pilgrimage in to Tibet's Borderlands).

He is also working on his second book project. Over a 3 year period he will be photographing over 25 traditional salt making places around the world. Covering every continent this book is the result of a collaboration between myself and the Fundacion Valle Salado de Anana, a Basque foundation based in Northern Spain that is responsible for the restoration of ancient salt terraces in the small town of Anana.
