Tedx Talk - Thai Human Rights Defenders

Last year I was asked to do a Tedx talk in Thailand about my work on human rights defenders in the country. I nervously accepted, then changed my mind, and finally forced myself to do it because their story deserves to be told. I fear public speaking and it was the hardest thing I have ever challenged myself to do.

But in April this year I did it. After a very nervous start I managed to complete what will be one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Not only was it a chance to highlight the issues facing human rights defenders in Thailand, it was also an honour to stand on the same stage as the 12 other incredible speakers who each make Thailand a better place for doing what they do.
